Thrifty Treasures and Blue Monday/ Bunnies and Prayers

Hi everyone! I hope you had an enjoyable weekend!
The weather was beautiful here!
Hubby and I have been busy working in the yard and patio area getting things spruced up for Spring.  I'll be showing you soon some of the things we've been doing.

I can't believe Easter will be here already next Sunday!
The time has just been flying by lately!

I've also been doing a bit of rearranging around the house and putting a few Easter things out as well.
Here's a cute little bunny couple I found at a local T/S, along with a blue and white striped heart shaped box pillow I made that a few of you might recognize, along with this needlepoint pillow with a darling fruit basket on it,
(that I did not make)!
It was a gift from my long time friend Mary.

Of course I had to put out my darling quilted Easter gardening bunny cut-out that my
Momma made for me...

She such a sweet Momma!
The bunny's a cutie too!!
Don't ya think?!

Love her Easter bonnet and button up shoes!

Speaking of my sweet Momma...

She is scheduled to check in to the hospital on the 1st of April for By-pass surgery.
I would be so grateful if you could join me in sending up a prayer for her
that she comes through this very serious surgery safely.
Thanks soooo much!

I bought this darling planter at one of my favorite out of town thirft stores,
then added the the faux ivy and praying cherub.
I thought it turned out real cute,
and also serves as a great reminder of the power of prayer.

Thanks for stopping by to visit today!
I'll be linking up to
Rhoda from Southern Hospitality
and
Smiling Sally's

Please stop by to pay them a visit and the other participants as well!

Have a wonderful week, and blessings to you all!
Sherri:)

Sherri,
I’m sure you’re a huge comfort for your mom and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Life has its ups and downs, but you have had more then your share to be sure.
Your sweet bunny cut out from your momma is adorable and so unique! I have not been to my favorite t/s for a while, but seeing all your goodies makes me want to take a trip. Actually, this morning! Love that stripped pillow and bunnies sitting you your bed. I really like the planter arranged with the cherub and ivy. Angels and cherubs are favorites of mine. Take care and I wish you well my friend.
Hugs, Cathy

Good Morning. Happy Blue Monday! Some snappy blues you have this morning! I'm so glad that Jehovah-God answers prayers. I took a moment to pray for your mom - lifted her to the LORD and asked for her peace among other things. Y'all take care. Thanks, Jenn <><

Sherri, Of course I will send a prayer your way for your Mother. We all have to stick together, you know! Mr. S seems to be doing quite well now that he is home. Meds are being adjusted and he starts PT again tomorrow. Gotta get him walking...
I love your bunny couple and your cut-out bunny is sweet. Thinking of you, my friend. xo Sue

Sending all good wishes your way. My dad had bypass when he was 45 and I am 44 so I try to take care of myself, eating right, ect. Your blues are lovely as is the bunny by your mamma. And the praying cherub surrounded by ivy in your thrifted treasure is beautiful. My thoughts and prayers are with your family for tomorrow. Blesings, Tammy
