It's a Cloche Party! ~ Featuring Fall Decor!

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to participate in this edition of It's a Cloche Party!

This event is hosted by our very sweet and gracious friend

Marty
at

Be sure to drop by her blog and check out her beautiful cloche's as well as the other party goer's.

Now the only thing I have close to a cloche is my cake stand so I decided it would have to do because I didn't want to miss out on the fun like I did when Marty had her last party!

Fall is just around the corner, and it seems that everyone around blogland has been showing off their beautiful Fall decorations, and even though it hasn't felt much like Fall around these parts, I have to admit it's got me anxious to join in the fun as well!

So I got out and did a little shopping and here's what I found..

I picked up some faux gourds, Fall picks, and some pretty Fall ribbon at Joann's Fabrics, and used them to create this arrangement.
The little carved orange pumpkin that says "A Season of Thanks" on the left was a thrift store treasure.

This white ceramic pumpkin on the right I bought at Marshalls.
I just loved the neat cut-out work on it!

I'll be showing it off a little more in a later post along with some cool special effects that I discovered on my photo editing program.

Thanks for stopping by to visit!
Please come again soon!!
Sherri:)

Hi Sherri!

You really have a talent for arranging a beautiful vignette! I haven't started decorating for Fall yet, but now I've been hit by "the bug"!

Have a wonderful day!

Sherri, Your vignette turned out so nicely with the cake stand. It more than qualifies! I think that using the paper doilie underneath your dried things added to it immensely. I will borrow that idea and hit the discount store foe some. That cutwork pumpkin is cute, too. This is a favorite time to decorate for, second only to Christmas, which will be here before I know it! take care and big hugs, Sue

Sherri,
I love how your "cloche/cake stand" turned out. Fabulous!!! The entire vignette is fabulous!!! I always forget about my cake stand. It does make a great cloche. I have dishes stacked up in mine on top of my fridge. Thanks for visiting my post & leaving me a comment.

I think the cake stand worked out just fine. The arrangement is really pretty. I love white pumkins but at the rate they are becoming popular, I will miss the orange ones soon! lol!

I haven't started decorating yet but it hasn't stopped me from picking up things here and there and adding to my stash. October 1 I will drag my daughter out of bed to help me!!

Have a great weekend! :-)

Hey Sherri, I'm so glad you stopped by. I haven't been by since the rooster party. Your fall background and header are GORGOUS! I had changed my backgound to a fall one but it wasn't bright enough for me so I changed back already!

Your arrangement is really pretty.
Love the fretwork on the white pumkin.

I've seen those buttes before! My brother used to live in Arbuckle and now lives up near Chico.

We've got a lot of almond orchards around here too. The blooms and the dust get to me but the blossoms sure are pretty. I just saw a headline today about the almond harvest being less than exptected this year. Hope it's going well for you.
