Those rooster pitchers are so silly just listen to them!

Hey!... wanna hear a knock, knock joke??
Well okay, I guess so...
Knock, Knock!
Who's there?
Omelet...
Omelet who?
Omelet smarter than I look!
Wanna know how I got so smart??
How.....
I've been down on the bottom shelf reading the Hencyclopedia!!
Bock Bock, Bock, hee, hee, hee!
Hey where did the Hencyclopedia's go?
They're not down here any more! ....
But look!! I found some decorating books!!
Bock, bock, yay!

Okay now, all joking aside....
and yeah I know those were pretty bad, LOL!
My collection of hand painted Rooster pitchers started with my favorite one above on the left, the one next to it was a Christmas gift from my friend, Mary. The rest I bought here and there, including one on shopping trip in Eureka Springs, AR with my mom,
So much fun!!
Once when my sister came to visit she told me that when she looked at all the things on my hutch, that it
"made her eyes smile"
I thought that was such a wonderful complement!
I've thought about painting my hutch too...
What do you think?

Of course I'd love to replace it instead with something like this!
Painted or not!

Hi Sherri, your rooster pitchers are so pretty and colorful. I love how you have them displayed.
I also love the jokes...how fun is that?! Thanks for sharing and making me smile.

Sheri,
I love your hutch and all the neat pieces displayed in it. The cabinet is fine the way it is, but I like the idea of painting it. The photo shows a combination of paint and stain which would look really good. I have a chest I want to paint black for awhile, but have been waiting for warmer weather. I covet that homemade pickle jar and the roosters are so cute…great post!
Precious roosters Sherri!
How cute the way you wrote this post! :)
Hi Sherri...
What a delightful post...such a fun read!!! And I loved all of your rooster jokes..hehe!!!
Girl, I just love all of your rooster pitchers...what a fabulous collection!!! So charming!!! This is the first time I've seen the rooster pitchers...you have so many...are there more available to collect?
Ohhh yes...I love your hutch and you have it accessorized perfectly!!! My friend, I think it would look fabulous black!!! Especially after seeing that beautiful wallpaper border with the black in it! It's truly beautiful..as is...but I think it would just really be fabulous painted black!!! If it were mine..I would paint!!!
Oooh...isn't that black hutch in the photo gorgeous? Love it!!!
Keep me posted on what you decide! If you do decide to paint it black...I wanna see it!!!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
Sherri, I am looking for a reasonably priced rooster pitcher for a dear friend. Any suggestions of where to find it?
Hi Christy,
You could try places like Marshalls, Ross, or TJ Maxx. Thats where I found most of mine. I haven't seen any around lately though. Your best bet would probably be Ebay. Good Luck, and thanks for visiting my blog!
Sherri:)
