Happy Holidays everyone!
So glad you could stop by and
from Between Naps on the Porch,
and Thrifty Thursday with our thrifty friend
It's been quite a while since I've posted a tablescape and ...
this tablescape was made possible
mostly in part by the generosity of a dear blogging friend
Cathy at The Stylish House.
and we have stayed in touch with each other often by e-mail.
Not only is Cathy generous, but she's also an inspiring interior designer!
Cathy sent me these beautiful
green patterned place mats and matching napkins.
green patterned place mats and matching napkins.
Also a set of beautiful gold beaded snowflake napkin rings,
lovely striped tablerunner, and an adorable nutcracker!
How sweet!! Thanks again Cathy!!
How sweet!! Thanks again Cathy!!
For my centerpiece I used this potted Amaryllis silk flower that I put together from a single stem and cute red pot I bought from GW then added moss ribbon and a bell floral pick from JoAnn's.
Then placed it on this whitewashed gold square mirror
with a spray of berries.
Floral and berry picks are such a great and
"inexpensive"
way to jazz up your Christmas displays.
I just love them!!
As you can see I used many of them in this tablescape!
The two little crystal votive holders we're a GW find also.
The two cute little decorative gift boxes I got at the dollar store.
I also placed some white sparkly sheer wide ribbon
meandering across the runner.
The gold leafed star chargers I had...
The Crystal candlesticks with glass holders were from a T/S.
Another floral pick and gold star ornament.
Another look at centerpiece and...
Look in the background!
There's the cute little nutcracker!
One last overall look...
Well there you have it!
Hope you enjoyed having a look,
as much as I enjoyed putting this together!!
Best Wishes
and
Many blessings to you all!!
Sherri:)

Hi Sherri,
You set such a beautiful holiday table. I love all the rich colors and the layering you do when you set a table. Setting a tablescape is something I am not good at. I need to practice a bit, I think.
I've gotta tell ya...I'm coveting the gold star chargers! I love them!!!
Hugs~
Sherri, Your table is lovely. I like those gold chargers and the linens Cathy sent are a gorgeous green. That amaryllis looks so real- I wouldn't have guessed it wasn't. You created such a nice setting with everything- what's for dinner? *grin*

How beautiful this looks Sherri! I really do adore the gorgeous items that Cathy sent you. So pretty! She is such a sweet blogger friend.
Thank you very much for your kind words about me in our Christmas photo. It was hard for me to post that photo since I'm still not at my ideal weight quite yet. You know us women. Always our own worst critic...:)
Enjoy this joy filled season!
~Warmly, ~Melissa :)
Hi Sherri,
I’m touched you used these things for one of your Tablescapes! You did a wonderful job putting everything together, and it turned out beautiful. The Amaryllis makes a perfect centerpiece, and placing it on the mirror is a great idea that I will be borrowing!
We finally got our first snow of the season. It wasn’t much, but burrrrr we are in the deep freeze now. I got the loveliest surprise in the mail, and ADORE my new toile apron, and other goodies. A little birdie must have known I’m a huge fan of toile, especially black & white. I’m going to put the fireplace on, and be a cookie baking fool this afternoon. Have a nice weekend!
Cathy
