Easy Autumn Banner Craft Project~

Happy Autumn everybody!!
The weather has finally cooled off here and I'm thrilled to say Autumn is in the air! Yay!!

Still no rain yet... but I'm sooo happy to have the cooler temps.

The last few days I've been getting some much needed cleaning done around the house. Heck, I even cleaned underneath the frig...

I couldn't believe how disgusting it was underneath that thing!
Who'd a thunk a frig could make such an icky mess!
But I got it all cleaned up with a little T.S.P. (Tri-sodium Phosphate) and hot water.

For those of you who have never used TSP to clean with,
I gotta tell you, it's the best dirt and grease remover I've ever used!
Especially for that stubborn gunk on and around your stove!
Anyway, enough about my adventures in house cleaning....
While I was waiting for the weather to cool off I made the this cute
Autumn banner and
I thought maybe y'all might like to make one for yourself!

Here's a couple of different ways to display it.
(You can click on the pics for enlarged detail)

You'll need a a length of cording, a hole punch. I decided to use pinking shears around the edges, but that's optional if you don't have a pair.

Just click on each pic and copy to your desired size I used the 5x7 format. Also use a card stock type of paper. Then punch a hole in both upper corners with a hole punch then thread the cording through each hole.

I wrapped a piece of tape tightly around the end of the cording to make it easier to poke through the holes.

Have Fun!!
and
Happy Autumn!!

This is a cute banner, Sherri. I like the black/white background on it. I am bookmarking this for next year, since I have virtually NO room left for it this year after all I've set up already. LOL
I've never used TSP for this type of project. I do agree, though, that underneath the refrigerator can get a bit icky. I try to move it every 3 months or so and use ammonia/water. It's too heavy to do without help, and it even has wheels. When they put in the new woodwork, it made for a very tight fit and I definitely need help now.
Happy cleaning, if you're not done yet,toots...
hugs, Sue

Thank you Sherri, it's so nice of you to share it. I was thinking oh, I'm going to print it out right now. Then Kim's comment reminded me I need colored ink! Darn, it will have to wait.
