Remembering the Backyard in Bloom ~

It's a beautiful day to celebrate

"Outdoor Wednesday"
hosted by
Susan at A Southern Daydreamer.
Today I'm taking you on a little tour of my backyard.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
After your done taking a look around here please pop over to Susan's blog for a peek at her post and all of the other participants too!

Just inside these sliding glass doors is where I am right now sitting at my computer desk.

This is my view from my desk.
I'm so missing the lillies now that they have faded:(

Gerbera daisies on my patio table with a little surprise my son found on the lemon tree. Is it a lemon or a yellow pepper?!!
Here's a funny little thing I just thought of....I have this cute little fake bumble bee to pollinate my flowers, and in in the first photo are some fake sunflowers on a wreath that I've actually caught a real bumble bee trying to pollinate several times!

Day lillies and Calla lillies all in a row.

The cement pond in the middle of our forest like backyard.

Calla lilly up close.

One single RED day lilly that sprung up in the middle of a bunch of yellow ones.

Thats kinda odd.

More calla lillies, they're kinda pinkish, purplish.

Kinda hard to tell though in this photo.

Tiger Lily....ahhhhh smells heavenly!!

All the lillies have faded for the year now....
It's so hard to wait for them to come back next year!

I love your backyard and your pool!
My daylilies are late bloomers, but this year won't bloom at all, because the deer got to them first.

That macro photo of the yellow calla lilies is spectacular!

My Outdoor Wednesday is a broken heart...come by to visit, won't you?

Hi Sherri,
What a great view to see while you blog away. All the blooms are so lovely.
I laughed about the bumblebees. I bet they are all confused. The real and the fake. I love that pool!

Sherri, Your photos today are gorgeous! Both varieties of lilies are so beautiful. I laughed at your reference to the "cement pond." All I could think of was Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies calling it that. *grin*
Hope your mom and sister are doing well today. hugs, Sue
