*****
I tried for several days to get these photos. First the lighting wasn't right and had to wait till the next day. Then it was windy the next day and had to bring most of it in and wait till the next day, again. Then the day after that was overcast when I finally got these photos, and they still didn't really turn out the way I'd hoped, but they will have to do.
So I figured after all that trouble I could at least use them for two events. I guess I actually could have used them for Blue Monday for too!

This table setting kinda reminds me of Mary Engelbreit with a french twist.

You might remember this favorite little rooster pitcher of mine from a previous post...
I just added some fresh daisies and greenery from the yard.

This blue and white china is...

...and they were a thrift store find!
I also just discovered that the china is still available at
Replacements.com
they also had some adorable serving pieces too!
Unfortunately not at thrift store prices though:(

The colorful vintage tablecloth with cherries on it, the blue glass bunny jar, the blue serving dish, and the honey and preserves jars were all thrift store finds!

My mom- in- law gave me the blue polka dot glasses as a token of appreciation when my husband and I helped her with some packing when she was moving across town.

You can see some of the backyard here,
although it's over cast outside and very shaded by the pine trees.
So my little backyard party turned out to be more like a
"Chair full of Bowlies"
instead of a Bowl full of Cherries
But I'm sure I'll
"Snap Out Of It"
Soon!
(Mary Engelbreit quotes)

Thanks for stopping by!!

A pool….you have a pool…Ok I have the green eyed monster under control. I really love this tablescape it is so pretty and of course the rooster is perfect taking center stage! I also want to let you know I am going away for a few days, (quietly whispering) I am going to my Mother In Law’s surprise 80th birthday party. She is my biggest blog fan so please don’t spill the beans. I figured it would be safe to tell and I didn’t want you to think I dropped off the planet. Take care. Cathy

Hi Sherri...

Oooh...your table is beautiful...who needs the sun, it's a "ray of sunshine" all on its own, my friend!!! I love all of the bright and cherry colors...oops meant cheery colors! hehe!!! I guess they both work! And you're right...it does feel French! Province is known for its reds, blues, and yellows!!! Not to mention your handsome fella sitting in the middle of the table! I love that rooster pitcher...he's such a colorful fella sporting the pretty yellow flowers! I haven't ever seen this "Peony" pattern but it's just gorgeous!!! Love all of your pretty blues...the polka dot glasses and cobalt bunny are so pretty!

Girl, I was looking down through some of the posts I missed...OMG...gotta love that bunny mug! Too funny!!!

Hello! I'm very late to this party, but I had to check out this charming table. I have that exact tablecloth. I bought it new at Mervyn's about 10-15 years ago. I loved it because it looked vintage. They had a whole collection of vintagey things that summer.
